This individual will play a key leadership role in managing and advancing our MSA service line. The Director will oversee all aspects of MSA allocations and CMS submissions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and firm protocols. This role also serves as a strategic partner to firm leadership and a trusted resource to our clients.

This person will be asked to assume leadership over our MSA department on a full-time basis oversight from the firm’s partners.

 

Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Oversee daily operations of the MSA team, including allocation preparation, review, and CMS submission.
  • Provide leadership to MSA analysts and support staff, including performance management and training.
  • Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert on all Medicare Set-Aside matters.
  • Review and approve MSA allocations for accuracy and compliance with CMS guidelines.
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to address inquiries and provide regulatory guidance.
  • Maintain and enhance internal SOPs and quality control processes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, expand offerings, and improve client satisfaction.
  • Develop and deliver internal training materials on MSA best practices.
  • Participate in client-facing meetings and support business development initiatives.


Qualifications: Potential candidates will possess:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Medicare Set-Aside allocations, MSP compliance, or a related legal/healthcare field.
  • Prior leadership experience managing a team or department preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of WCMSA Reference Guide, CMS policies, and Medicare compliance.
  • JD, RN, or CMSP certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Experience in remote work environments.

This role is essential in managing daily legal tasks, assisting with case documentation, and ensuring effective office operations. The Litify Administrator will play a critical role in supporting the firm's use of Litify, a Salesforce-based legal management platform. This individual will oversee system configuration, data integrity, user support, and workflow enhancements. They will work cross-functionally with legal operations, attorneys, support staff, and leadership to ensure the platform is aligned with business needs and continues to drive efficiency across the firm.

Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Litify-related questions, support, and system troubleshooting
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and profiles to ensure proper data access and system use
  • Configure and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, reports, dashboards, and workflows within Litify
  • Collaborating with department leads to understand business processes and translate them into system functionality
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Litify, advanced Excel, and Power BI to support data-driven decisions
  • Utilize SQL to query and manage data integrity across internal systems
  • Oversee system updates, releases, integrations, and any third-party tools connected to Litify
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with firm policies and regulatory standards
  • Provide end-user training and develop internal documentation for system use and best practices

Qualification Criteria:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP)
  • Familiarity with working in a Microsoft shop environment

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team focused on handling Medicare Set-Aside (MSA) Legal Opinions for our clients. 


Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Review case files to determine relevant facts and potential obligations under the Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) Act
  • Analyze case-specific information and apply it to the firm's MSA legal opinion framework
  • Draft detailed legal reports summarizing facts, applying relevant guidance, and outlining recommended next steps for clients
  • Compose well-structured case summaries, legal analyses, and written communications in accordance with legal writing standards
  • Communicate professionally with clients to request additional documentation, clarify case details, explain findings, and provide follow-up
  • Meet internal timelines and expectations for quality and accuracy in all work products
  • Maintain clear records and documentation to support compliance and audit readiness
  • Collaborate with team members and attorneys to ensure accuracy and consistency in deliverables


Qualification Criteria:

  • Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in legal writing, case analysis, or a similar paralegal/legal support role
  • Strong understanding of the Medicare Secondary Payer Act and/or experience with MSA reporting is a plus

The daily responsibilities of a Lien Specialist may include but not be limited to:

  • Sending requests to lien holders, including healthcare providers, via email and/or fax.
  • Monitor and track lien resolution requests to ensure timely follow-up and response from lien holders.
  • Review and audit liens to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify discrepancies or errors in lien documentation and work with internal teams to address and resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain detailed records of lien resolution activities, including correspondence, communications, and documentation.
  • Prepare and draft Letters of Representation (LORs) to inform lien holders of our representation and request information or documentation as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with lien holders, clients, and internal stakeholders to provide updates on lien resolution progress and address any concerns or inquiries.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to support the overall lien resolution process and achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.


Qualification Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in lien resolution.
  • Strong and effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to review and audit lien documentation thoroughly.

  • Conducting bank and post office runs as needed.
  • Retrieve, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail daily, ensuring confidentiality and timely handling.
  • Scanning, organizing, and uploading mail into our software system; distributing documents to appropriate team members.
  • Tracking and managing deliveries for attorneys and staff.
  • Assisting with North Carolina e-filing within the state court system.
  • Performing accurate data entry and maintaining organized data records.

Qualification Criteria:
